The Ministry of Energy in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is spearheading Tanzania’s inaugural Energy Efficiency Action Plan, supported by the European Union (EU) and Irish Embassy.

The primary goal of this initiative is to ensure universal access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy across Tanzania. A pivotal component of the Action Plan involves the development of professional qualifications and skills in Energy Management and Audit, with a specific focus on empowering women in this sector.
